YPlan enables you to keep track of the vacations and other absence times of all your coworkers. The Shareware is intended primarily for small and medium-sized companies. The networkable program is controlled centrally and stores all the employees' data in a password-protected and encrypted database.
To permit the full functionality of the program to be used, the user interface and administration system must be configured. The users consist of an administrator, a list manager and normal users. The administrator registers new coworkers in the database and deals with data administration. If the program is installed in a network, each coworker can enter his/her data directly in the database. The list managers possess extended rights and may make entries and approve vacation for other coworkers.
Special statistical features provide management staff with a quick method of obtaining an overview of the current absences in the form of 3D diagrams and tables. All in all YPlan is a well-designed tool for personnel management.
